Outriders won't feature dedicated servers
Upcoming co-op-focussed shooter Outriders won't characteristic defended servers for multiplayer.

Outriders is an online-only game, and game director Bartosz Kmita was keen to stress that the game does employ defended servers in other areas to prevent hacking, just not for co-op.
"It's non a P2P game where everything's on your motorcar and you can hack it," Kmita explained.
"You take to log into an account to play because you demand to access the server. It'southward basically the distribution between how many things are calculated on the server and how many things are calculated on your machine.
"Even in games with dedicated servers, some calculations are on your machine, and so information technology'south about the proportion. So a smaller corporeality of calculations we have on a dedicated server, merely well-nigh of the things go on the host machine."
